What Should I Tell Him On A First Date

Everyone has those embarrassing moments in life. You simply can’t get around it. You know, like those times when your date’s fly is open and you’re not sure if you should say anything or not. This one can actually be a bit tricky when you think about it. Say it’s your first date with this guy. Do you really want to tell him something quite as personal as this when you don’t even know him all that well? Will he appreciate it if you do say something? Is it right for you to let him go around everywhere that evening on your date with his fly open?

One of the things that you should go by when trying to resolve this dilemma is what sort of guy you’re dating. If he’s laid back and has a great sense of humor, you’re probably going to be fine in telling him that his fly is open. In fact, you’ll both probably have a great laugh about it. On the other hand, if the guy’s a bit shy or something, you probably want to find a different way to let him know that he needs to zip up his fly. However, no matter what you do, he’s probably going to die of embarrassment and you may never see him again.

Another one of those first date embarrassing moments is when your date has something huge and green caught between his front teeth. Do you say something or do you just let it go and hope he notices it on his own, eventually? Again, this is going to depend on the guy’s personality. Consider if it was you in that situation. Would you want to be told by a new date? Proceed accordingly when you think about it.
Then, there’s that perfectly natural, yet perfectly humiliating event of passing gas. Men typically don’t mind doing this in front of anyone, even new women that they’re dating. In fact, some of them will even call attention to it just in case you missed it and make raucous jokes about it. Obviously, these men aren’t going to mind if you discreetly cover your nose and mouth with your hand or napkin. Suppose you’re dating a man that’s rather self-conscious about things and he erupts loudly during dinner. Do you just keep talking and pretend that you didn’t hear the minor volcanic explosion? Do you giggle a little and make some cute remark, whatever that might be?  This one is where you should simply follow his lead as there’s really no graceful way to get around it.
Yes, first dates can be very exciting and fun. They can also present some rather comical and embarrassing situations. You just have to figure out what you’re going to do if any of these happen to turn up on your first date with this guy. In the end, if you have doubts as to how to handle it, go along with the way the guy wants to deal with it. That seems to be the best answer.

Spotting A Stalker

Stalking has become one of the top criminal offenses in recent years and the statistics keep climbing. A lot of people want to blame this on the introduction of the Internet but the truth is that stalking has been going on many years before anyone ever heard of in home computers. Honestly, stalking has most likely been going on since the days of the cavemen. Of course, THOSE guys simply TOOK the women they wanted, and that was that. Things are a lot different now in spite of the fact that most stalkers still have that caveman mentality. Granted, anyone can be at risk for becoming a victim of a stalker. However, people that are active in the dating scene tend to be more susceptible. That’s not meant to be critical of people that enjoy dating. It’s just that these people are exposed to the possibility more.

My Banner

Many of these victims found themselves as the object of a stalker after beginning an online friendship. It really doesn’t matter whether these friendships stayed online or evolved into face to face meetings. If someone is Internet savvy enough, they can find out anything they want to know about someone. The only way you can be positive of being one hundred percent safe from people discovering things about you is if you hold a high government job. Even then, all of your secrets may not be safe.

With online dating being so prevalent these days, it’s important to take some extra precautions. Now, women are typically the most common victims of stalking but there have been plenty of cases reported where men were the victims. That just means that everyone, no matter what gender you are or what your sexual persuasion is, should always exercise caution when meeting someone new.

While a lot of times, the stalker seems perfectly normal at first, there may still be small signs that something’s a bit off. For example, if he starts immediately planning a future with you on the first date, you may want to back off pretty fast. Anytime someone attaches to you that quickly, it means something isn’t right.

It’s not always that easy to spot these abnormalities, but if you find yourself constantly “running into” someone even in out of the way places, there’s a good chance you’re being followed and don’t realize it. If someone keeps calling you even though you’re constantly getting a new unlisted number, you might be in trouble. Also, don’t discount the arrival of unwanted gifts, although once things get to this stage, you’re probably going to need the help of the police and a restraining order.

Something that you can usually spot in the beginning, though, is the way he looks at you. There’s an intensity that has no business being there so soon. If you notice this, or your intuition just tells you that something’s not right, don’t hesitate to cut off all contact on your end. The faster you do it the better.

Don’t feel dumb, though, if you do happen to attract a stalker. There are many instances in where you don’t even realize that you’ve come into contact with someone of this nature. It could simply be someone you passed in the grocery store or rode the subway with. Sometimes there’s just no way to know, but by following a few common sense rules, you can keep yourself safer.

A New Age In Dating

Dating is one of those things that everyone has done at one time or another. Back in the days of high school, dating was considered fun and exciting to all. But those days came to an end once you got married and grew up a bit.

Now that you have divorced and you are tired of living on your own, you might want to consider dating again. So, how does an adult, who has been married for almost 20 years, go about dating in this day and age? Some things have changed greatly since those early days of a movie and popcorn date.

The first thing you are going to notice is technology has taken over the clubs, bars, and fairs that people used to go to in order to find a date in the first place. Facebook and various other social networking sites have pretty much taken over that aspect. Don’t forget about all those dating sites that you see commercials for on your television, either. Computers and dating are starting to go together like sugar and coffee these days and, because of that, you are going to have to change your game up a little bit.

NEW! Now You Can Stop Your Break Up, Divorce or Lovers Rejection…Even If Your Situation Seems Hopeless!

If you’ll take my hand, I’ll show you exactly what to do and what to say to get your ex lover back in your arms – Especially if you are the only one trying…

It is really difficult to convey emotion when you are typing to someone on a computer. Remember that when you are saying things through an instant message or email, you are going to have to be fairly specific so you don't end up scaring that potential date off. What might be a funny opening line in real person, where they can see the smile on your face and the hint of sarcasm in your words might just end up offending someone who is simply reading it online. Always take that into consideration when you are trying to find a date through a social networking or online dating site.

You should also be aware that the person you are talking to may not be the person they are portraying themselves to be. There have been numerous accounts of guys acting like women and vice versa just to start up a conversation with someone as a joke. You might also find that the strapping quarterback or energetic cheerleader turns out to be a 350 pound man named Judd that lives in a trailer behind his mother’s house. Make sure they send you a picture with a hand written note to you with your name on it to be sure.

Dating in this type of a technological age is something that a lot of teenagers have no issues with, but anyone that has been married since the advent of the home computer, can remember what a modem sounded like while connecting to AOL, and loves the old drive-in movies might have a difficult time adjusting with how things are done these days. Don’t worry, though. If you are lucky, the person you are looking to date will feel the same way you do and that will just give you something to talk about while you are waiting for your movie to download onto your phones.

Best Ways To Get Her Back:Mending My Broken Heart

Surviving the Immediate Future

Once you get past the initial shock of the break up, you will still have a period of mourning.  During this time, you have to toughen up.  While you may have been able to indulge your self for a short time, now it is time to adjust to the new reality.

Take good care of yourself.  While having a pint of Ben and Jerry’s felt good right after the break up, developing good eating habits is important now.  You should also be exercising regularly.  The endorphins that your body produces when you exercise will help improve your mood.

Don’t be afraid to cry when the mood strikes you.  You are going to have ups and downs.  But, don’t give in to a chronic state of depression.

Forgive your ex.  At some point, you will have to forgive your ex for breaking your heart.  You will also have to forgive him for any actions he took during the relationship which hurt you.  The longer you hold anger toward him, the longer it will be before you can exit the break up mentality.

You should also ask him for forgiveness for any of the hurt you caused in the relationship.  This will allow you to cleanse.

Go out – even when you don’t feel like it.  This can mean going out with your friends for social things.  But it can also mean going out on dates with a new person.  While you don’t want to enter into a hot and heavy rebound relationship, going out on dates will allow you to see yourself as an attractive catch.  It will boost your self esteem at a time when you really need it.  Go out on a date with someone you are not likely to fall in love with.

Socialize with your friends and reconnect with people who you have let go of.  Many times, a relationship dominates our lives and our other friends get squeezed out without us even knowing it.  Go through your address book or email list and find people you haven’t talked to in a few months.  Set up a time to go out for coffee.

Take up a new hobby or interest.  If you always wanted to try toll painting, take a class.  If your ex was a couch potato but you like the great outdoors, join a hiking group.  Not only will your new activity take up some of the time left vacant from the termination of the relationship, you will also have the chance to meet new people.

Think about getting out of town for a few days.  The change in scenery could be good for your soul.

You can also get a new hairstyle or do a wardrobe makeover.  You don’t have to consider his preferences any more.  It may be a good time to reinvent yourself.

Remember that healing takes time.  You are going to have good days and bad.

Figure out what you were supposed to have learned from the relationship and then apply that to your life in the future.

Finally, believe that your ex did you a favor in the long term when he called it off.  Your true soul mate is still out there waiting for you.

In the long term, you will begin to compartmentalize the experience.  Your ex will become just another boyfriend.  That will be one part of your life, but you will have many other parts.

This series of article on "Mending My Broken Heart" will continue tomorrow. Watch this video below from T W Jackson who has helped over 50 000 people to get back to love again with The Magic of Making Up.
